Anastacia Kaloudis
Founder/Specialized Program Director
Bringing years of experience in public service and a deeply personal commitment to advocacy, Anastacia Kaloudis founded Inclusive Support Services NW with the vision of creating a nurturing environment that celebrates each person’s unique strengths.
Anastacia’s professional journey reflects her dedication to empowering individuals and families. As Associate Program Director of Criminal Justice at Pioneer Pacific College, she spent seven years teaching, counseling, and supporting students, particularly those with learning disabilities. She then transitioned to the Washington State Department of Corrections, serving as a Community Corrections Officer in the Special Needs Unit, where she supervised high-risk offenders with significant mental health challenges. Her expertise extended to roles in Drug Court and Family Treatment Court, where she advocated for families navigating systemic barriers.
In 2011, Anastacia received the prestigious YWCA Portland Ally Against Abuse Award, presented by Gloria Steinem, in recognition of her work advocating for domestic violence education, support, and programming to assist families and children.
Her commitment to public service also includes groundbreaking research. In 2004, Anastacia led the Survey of High-Risk Inmate Behaviors in the Oregon Prison System in collaboration with Portland State University and the Oregon Department of Corrections. This study laid the foundation for her master’s thesis, The Prevalence and Predictive Nature of Victimization, Substance Abuse & Mental Health on Recidivism: A Comparative Longitudinal Examination of Male and Female Oregon Department of Corrections Inmates. This research, considered ahead of its time, continues to gain recognition, with two recent references in the Journal of Feminist Criminology.
As the mother of a 23-year-old daughter with autism, Anastacia’s passion for building inclusive, empowering communities is deeply personal. Through Inclusive Support Services NW, she merges her academic expertise, professional experience, and personal insight to create meaningful support systems for individuals and families to thrive.
